Our Installations
The pride of "De Machienerie"
In Flanders, "De Machienerie" is widely regarded as a pioneer in developing a unique artistic language built around poetic and theatrical installations.
What began as a small construction workshop has evolved into a fully-fledged production house where scenography, mechanics and imagination come together in a distinctive and recognizable universe.
Today, that heritage lives on through a collection of visual installations where craftsmanship, movement and storytelling merge to create immersive worlds. Worlds that continue to grow, inviting audiences and spaces into new encounters time and time again.
Partners & Co-productions
De Machienerie operates across festivals, cultural programming, public space, and international collaborations.
Over the years, our creations have grown in dialogue with partners, co-productions, and performance venues in Belgium and abroad.
These encounters form an essential part of our practice: each location, context, and collaboration adds new layers to the work.
Anyone who recognises themselves in this kind of trajectory, or who wishes to explore a potential collaboration, is warmly invited to get in touch.
